Sheri joined the Board of Finance in November 2015. Prior to the BOF, Sheri served 7 years on the Westport Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). In professional practice Sheri served as a Clerk for U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, followed by 7 years at Debevoise & Plimpton handling complex corporate and litigation matters, with a focus on intellectual property.
Sheri and her husband Paul Gordon have three kids, ages 7, 11 and 14. Sheri attended Cornell University and graduated with a B.A. ‘93, magna cum laude, and attended New York University School of Law and graduated with a J.D, ‘96. Sheri has been actively involved in the Long Lots and Bedford PTA Executive Boards, Westport PAL Cheerleading, and Westport Soccer Association.
